This is how we work together:

In my sessions, the focus is not on riding instruction or technique, but on relationship, self-awareness, and clear, authentic communication - with the horse and with oneself. Depending on the situation, sessions take place both on the ground and on the horse. Elements of horsemanship and Sensory Work support regulation and inner stabilization through direct, lived experience. No prior horse or riding experience is required. Each session is individually tailored, though the following themes often play a central role:

Regulation through Movement and Sensory Work:
Based on the child’s needs, work may also take place on the horse. Through rhythmic movement, physical contact, and the experience of being carried, inner tension and heightened arousal can begin to soften. Movement in nature, walking together, and consciously experiencing rhythm help the nervous system settle. I follow the child - not a fixed program.

Understanding and Using Body Language:
How do I communicate with my body so the horse understands me? What shifts when I become calmer, clearer, or more confident?

Recognizing and Respecting Boundaries:
How close is comfortable? How much space do I need? Horses respond immediately to proximity and distance, allowing children and teens to directly experience when something feels right - and when it does not.

Playful Prompts and Mindful Activities:
Depending on the moment, small exercises or movement-based invitations may arise - not as training, but as opportunities to focus attention, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen connection.

Natural Horsemanship forms an important foundation of my work. At the same time, I expand this approach through the principles of the Horse Boy Method, where regulation, relationship, and embodied experience are central. Horses reflect what is happening within us - immediately, honestly, and without judgment. Their clarity is part of their unique power. I guide this process with clear structure and calm presence. I support the dialogue between horse and client, help make subtle nonverbal signals understandable, and assist in integrating the experiences in a meaningful way. My goal is for each person to leave feeling a little more grounded, confident, and steady than when they arrived.
