🐴🙎🏻🐕🦺 Our Team - Heart, Hooves & Paws
🐴 Toni - My Equine Partner
Toni is a gentle and attentive Tinker mare with a fine sensitivity for people.
At seven years old, she is curious, honest – and at times still a little cautious.
Her journey began in Ireland and, after many twists and her own experiences, eventually led her to the learning farm – and to me.
Like many who come to us, Toni carries her own story.
She knows what it feels like to be a stranger, to arrive somewhere new, and to find her way in unfamiliar surroundings.
In our work together, Toni meets each person with quiet attentiveness.
She often senses what is moving within us – sometimes even before we can put it into words ourselves.
Without judgment or expectation, she offers feedback: honest and clear, yet always gentle.
Our path is one we walk together.
I accompany her – and she accompanies me.
🐕🦺 Timmy – Tiny Paws, Big Impact
Timmy is our curly little poodle – curious, full of life, and always part of the action. He is the third member of our team – and he brings a special warmth to it.
With his open nature, Timmy greets everyone as if to say: “You belong here.” Whether tall or small, loud or quiet, cheerful or reserved – he meets each person with the same openness and unconditional affection. For many, this creates an immediate and comforting sense of being seen and welcomed.
Timmy loves closeness, enjoys being petted, and often seeks out contact himself – whether someone is experienced with animals or still a little cautious. His cheerful presence quickly builds bridges, especially for those who may never have been close to a dog or a horse before.
Even though he is not a “trained therapy dog,” he naturally embodies what is so valuable in working with people: authenticity, lightness – and a very big heart. If desired, Timmy can gladly be included in the sessions.
His role?
Simply to be himself.
And that is exactly what makes him so special.
🌿 Hof Armada - A Place to Feel at Home
I offer my sessions at Hof Armada, an educational farm in Wiesbaden-Frauenstein – peacefully situated, surrounded by nature, animals, and a safe environment. It is a place that offers room for encounters, for calm, for clear structures – and for whatever feels important in the moment. It’s not about performance. It’s about shared experiences that truly support you – in connection with the horse, with others, and with yourself.
The farm’s atmosphere makes many things possible: opening up, finding stillness, building trust. Step by step – and without pressure.
💬 My Approach - clear, mindful, and personal
Each session is individually tailored - shaped around what you bring: your questions, your concerns, your goals.
At the center of my work is always the relationship - between you and the horse, and within the supportive space we create together.
My work is horse-assisted and inspired by the Horse Boy Method. It brings together relationship, movement, rhythm, and mindful awareness. Horses don’t respond to what we say - they respond to what we carry in our bodies: our posture, our breathing, our inner state. That is where the real work begins.
Depending on the needs of the child or teen, sessions take place both on the ground and on the horse. Alongside elements of horsemanship, Sensory Work plays an important role. Through rhythmic movement, physical closeness, and intentional sensory experience, the nervous system can begin to settle. Inner tension may ease, self-awareness deepens, and regulation becomes something that is experienced - not instructed.
There are no fixed programs and no performance expectations. Each session follows the individual pace, developmental stage, and current capacity of the child or young person. Growth unfolds through safety, trust, and authentic connection.
What makes this work unique?
It is quiet, yet deeply powerful.
Sometimes a small gesture is enough. A glance. An honest response from the horse.
Things that feel overwhelming or hidden in everyday life often become visible in the presence of the animal - and, in many cases, gently shift.
My foundation:
My work is grounded in a Christian, biblical perspective that gives me direction and hope. At the same time, I am committed to meeting every person with openness, respect, and genuine care - regardless of their individual beliefs.
