🐴 TONI - A SPECIAL COMPANION ON THE JOURNEY

Toni is a gentle and attentive Irish Cob mare with a remarkable sensitivity to people.

At eight years old, she is curious, honest, and sometimes still a little cautious herself. Her journey began in Ireland and, through various stages and experiences, eventually brought her to Hof Armada – and finally to me.

Like many of the children and teenagers who come to us, Toni has her own story. She knows what it is like to arrive somewhere new, to find your place in an unfamiliar environment, and to let trust grow step by step.

Perhaps that is why children often find it easy to connect with her.

With her calm and patient nature, Toni helps children feel safe and accepted. She does not judge, place expectations on them, or ask them to be anyone other than who they are.

Alongside Toni, children and teenagers discover that courage grows through experience. Small steps, new challenges, and moments of success become important building blocks on the path towards greater self-confidence.

Our development is a shared journey.

I guide Toni – and Toni guides me. Together, we create a space where children can settle in, build trust, and discover their own strengths.

🐕‍🦺 Timmy - A LITTLE WHIRLWIND WITH A BIG HEART

Timmy is our curly miniature poodle – curious, cheerful, and always eager to be part of the action.

While Toni often brings calm and steadiness, Timmy adds a sense of lightness and joy. With his friendly and open nature, he quickly connects with people and has a wonderful way of making children smile.

For some children, he is the first to offer a warm welcome. For others, he is a quiet companion nearby, simply happy to be present. He has no expectations, no judgments, and an endless amount of affection to share.

Timmy loves being close to people, enjoys every cuddle, and greets everyone with the same friendly curiosity.

If a child would like him to, Timmy is happy to join our sessions.

His most important job?

Simply being Timmy.

And that is exactly what makes him so special.

🌿 HOF ARMADA - A PLACE TO ARRIVE AND FEEL AT EASE

My work takes place at Hof Armada, an educational farm in Wiesbaden-Frauenstein, surrounded by nature, animals, and plenty of space to breathe.

Here, children and teenagers are invited to simply arrive. Free from pressure, expectations, and the need to prove themselves.

In this calm and supportive environment, they are given something many children are missing today: time, trust, and the opportunity to gain new experiences.

The farm provides space for meaningful encounters, small and big successes, and the experience that courage can grow – one step at a time.

Surrounded by horses, animals, and nature, children can discover their strengths, build confidence, and reconnect with themselves.

💬 My Approach - clear, mindful, and personal

Each session is individually tailored - shaped around what you bring: your questions, your concerns, your goals. At the center of my work is always the relationship - between you and the horse, and within the supportive space we create together.

My work is horse-assisted and inspired by the Horse Boy Method. It brings together relationship, movement, rhythm, and mindful awareness. Horses don’t respond to what we say - they respond to what we carry in our bodies: our posture, our breathing, our inner state. That is where the real work begins.

Depending on the needs of the child or teen, sessions take place both on the ground and on the horse. Alongside elements of horsemanship, Sensory Work plays an important role. Through rhythmic movement, physical closeness, and intentional sensory experience, the nervous system can begin to settle. Inner tension may ease, self-awareness deepens, and regulation becomes something that is experienced - not instructed.

There are no fixed programs and no performance expectations. Each session follows the individual pace, developmental stage, and current capacity of the child or young person. Growth unfolds through safety, trust, and authentic connection.

What makes this work unique?
It is quiet, yet deeply powerful.
Sometimes a small gesture is enough. A glance. An honest response from the horse.
Things that feel overwhelming or hidden in everyday life often become visible in the presence of the animal - and, in many cases, gently shift.

My foundation:
My work is grounded in a Christian, biblical perspective that gives me direction and hope. At the same time, I am committed to meeting every person with openness, respect, and genuine care - regardless of their individual beliefs.
